Description:
The professional graphics display for Photographers and designers
The Gallery 2010 Xtreme 5 Display not only offers you a unique design and choice of colour cabinet, but also excellent image quality. Its Premium MVA panel and quick response time means it can be recommended in particular for professional users.

True Digital Display DVI-D
– No Signal Loss
DVI-D refers to a digital-only connection no digital-to-analog conversion is required, eliminating loss or corruption of the signal. As a result, when running at its native resolution, a True Digital LCD will give you a cleaner and crisper image.

Pixel Pitch- Sharp Images
The smaller the pixel pitch, measured in fractions of millimetres, the crisper the image. For example, our industry leading .255 dot pitch means dots are 25/100ths of a millimetre apart providing the highest quality ultra sharp images, suitable for pro photographers, a prepress professional, or someone else who needs super precise, top-notch image quality.

Viewable Image Size
These displays employ an aspect ratio of 4:3 compared to mainstream widescreen formats of 16:10. The increased viewable area now means that you can employ 2 Full A4 Pages side by side without covering or overlapping the window you are working on.

Colour Calibration
While Formac Displays leave the factory tuned to perform out of the box, you can use calibration such as the Pantone Eye One Display to create a custom Coloursync profile. This gives you the peace of mind that a Formac display will integrate perfectly into your colour workflow, ensuring accurate colour from screen to print.

Superb brightness
With a high brightness of 300 cd/m2, the same as high quality LCD TVs. These displays present a clear view even in bright environments.

Amazing image depth
This outstanding contrast performance makes images on dark backgrounds appear more vivid, brings out the subtle differences in similar shades of colour, and ensures that colours retain there richness even in brightly lit rooms.

Overdrive Technology – Fast Response Times
To enhance moving image playback capabilities, an overdrive circuit is required within the panel. Used with many LCD TVs, an overdrive circuit vastly improves the LCD panel's response time for changing between mid-tones or gray levels, which is necessary to display colour images without blurring.  The short 8 ms (g/g) response time of the Gallery 2010 Xtreme 5 guarantees flicker-free image depiction.

Colour – True 8 bit Colour processing
Formac equips the Gallery 2010 Xtreme-5 own with a unique controller board house in integrated ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) that allows you to achieve True 8bit and 16.7 Million colours, without the need for dithering  (6bit to 8bit) to ensure smooth reproduction of subtle colour variations. This exceptional panel is capable of embracing video cards, which support 10bit and above look-up tables allowing you to choose extended colour palette’s to more than 1 billion as well as adjust Gamma control. These video cards can be found in many standard desktop solutions today or bought as an addition.

Thanks to P-MVA technology it achieves a super wide 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angle - an advantage when several people have to view the screen at the same time.
